The Obelisk is not a door panel on a post: it is a free-standing column over two metres tall, designed for site entrances, guard gates and driveways where there is no wall to mount a station on. It carries a 10-inch IPS touch screen readable in full sun, a surveillance camera and a navigation directory for the complex.
Face recognition opens the gate without the resident lowering a window. The screen can also show personalised information — an event reminder, a message from the board — rather than staying a simple call plate.
À-la-carte configuration is what sets the Obelisk apart: the base and cladding are chosen from wood, stone, granite, stainless steel, moss, glass or plexiglass. Two neighbouring buildings need not receive the same column.
